Abandonment of Children in Jamaica
Erna Brodber
This study documents and comments on the incidence of abandonment of children in Jamaica; it suggests explanations for abandonment and makes suggestions which could lessen the appearance of this phenomenon in Jamaican life.
Though Abandonment of Children is primarily committed to an examination of abandonment, the study comments on other social problems affecting the welfare of children in this country.
