After his life is shattered, Startok ventures into the world with his best friend, Anthroff, seeking a means of restoring the dying land. Along the way, he confronts the Knights of the Order of Rekulock, a faction that governs magic use. When he discovers he has magic of his own, Startok must be wary.

With magic rings and a gem-studded sword, Startok's adventure spans two continents while he learns about himself and the friends who gather around him. But will it be enough to save the realm?
